That looks just like my octopus experience! It was boiling in a pot (just like the one in front of Elder Rex) on an investigator's stove. She asked if I'd ever tried octopus, then proceeded to cut off an inch-long piece of one of the tentacles, right from the pot, and handed it to me on a fork. It was kind of bland and rubbery -- like chewing an eraser or a bath toy. I had tiny octopi another time on a pasta dish with tomato sauce -- a very special dinner with member family on New Year's Eve -- that time it was absolutely delicious!
